Just bought this piece of kit in Lidl. It was E249.99. The sound and picture is superb in it.

If you want to convert a VHS collection to DVD the cheapest solution is to use a PC DVD drive hooked up to you VHS machine with something like this and free software like this.

Not as user friendly as a Combi VHS/DVD recorder but a lot cheaper than paying €250-€300
