I'm already in a band, but I'm kinda toying with the idea of doing an experimental kinda side project thing just for a buzz, nothing serious. I'm 24, I play bass and I like the Mahavishnu Orchestra. Anyone interested?

Hey 23 guitarist here I'd be into that, play alot of John Mclaughlin stuff...I'd be interested in working with odd metre and maybe some free improvisation as well

I'm in Deansgrange/Blackrock. I know you're in the LGSM. I'm in the PMTC myself so my theory isn't very advanced, but I'm an experienced practical player and I'm very comfortable with odd-metre stuff. I was kinda thinking of having an improv based band with a real avant-garde/electronic/rock/fusion kinda thing to it. Just something completely uncommercial, maybe do a quick recording, maybe some gigs.

Sounds cool, we could practice in Newpark. Do you have a drummer in mind?

I was thinking of Dave Weckl, but I haven't got his number. :-) I haven't got any drummers in mind, as of yet. I only started thinking about this yesterday, after all. Any drummers floating around?

I'm sure there's someone in LGSM that would do it. only 2 drummers in LGSM 2 and they're giggin alot so don't reckon they'd have the time, but i'll ask and see!
