I listened to it and I thought it was great. You guys are really good. You might want to consider shortening the intro and mixing the vocals higher in the track but it's stll totally cool. Fair play to the lot of you.

ha ha, yeah there's nothin much to the intro which makes it sound longish alright - spot on about the vocals too

thanks a mil for the feedback, glad u liked it, we'll have 2 or three more in jan!

I thought it was quite good. It seems a little middle of the road, but for what it is you did it well. I thought the bass was nice, nothing too flamboyant but it suited the music well. Over all I think you could be a small bit more original in your ideas but as I said before I liked it.

I like it, like the singers voice, looses time here and there though. But I reckon the middle of the roadness you speak has nothing to do with the song just the way it was recorded, I mean if it was recorded with a really good producer it'd be a great track. Good Stuff!! Post some more when ya got it!

Ye may not be too happy with my reply, but it's only my opinion...

Your drummer has a slight timing problem, also, it's not your fault but the drum sound is shít. That's the engineers fault. I've heard this stuff playing at almost every gig I've ever played though, but if you enjoy it then keep it up.

I like the singer's voice though. I think the main problem is the production but a good job overall. Well done. I'd like to hear more.

In fact you're spot on - the engineer is our mate who is our age (21) who has set up his own studio and it's our and his very first recording any kind of demo so we used eachother as guinea pigs! The drum kit was small (not our drummers kit) and he wasn't happy but it was handier to use what is there!

Really really thanks re: the vocals! that's me and it's my first time singing in a band - I'm a guitarist but I'm gonna work hard at my vocals! Thanks for the encouraging words!

Thanks for the compliment on the song

I thought the beat changes from

    123 123 12
    123 123 12

    to 12345678
    12345678

    to 1 2 3 4

would make it a bit more interesting!

May have contributed to the drummer having a little trouble with keeping time!

Chances are none of us are gonna be rock stars but someday if i make my money in the business world or whatever I'll rent Abbey road rec stud and sent you a proper version!

If the drummer is playing 2 bars of 3/4 and 1 bar of 2/4 twice then playing in 8/8 it doesn't show at all. Sorry for the negativity but rhythm is the one thing that can make a band sound bad. So I think it needs to be worked on.

    Fusion

maybe I'm just calling it the wrong thing - Im not academically adept when it comes to music, the numbers above are just what i counted in my head when i was writing it on my guitar!

    Thanks squirrel,

We will have a 4 track demo finished in February or maybe before that! The plan is to play those songs for a few people and then play a gig so whoever likes it can come along and know some songs and have a good time!
