We really should get the IV dates listed there too, also if we could get them to have a separate list of contact details for the university level clubs it might be an idea, help keep the Secondary Schools crowd informed and such.

The Carlow IV is listed there but it's not at all clear. I very much brushed past it.

Inter-Varsity: <event> might be more helpful. Not sure how best to do it really but it should be played around with so that events are easier to see.

I like the idea of a seperate list for universities. Some simple coding would make something like an option to list A-Z/by category/specific category etc.

the website is currently updated just enough to keep people informed, the format will be alterered with time to improve the layout and to include college info and schools and the intervarsity dates will be labled.
at least its up an the info is there for people to access which is a major step in the right direction!

Hi all,

I've listed the Intervarsity Shoot for Carlow more clearly on the IAAA Calendar and added a link button for Colleges. Until www.collegearchery.com has a little more than "Foo! Bar!" :o) listed on the home page, I'd like to add a Colleges page showing the various existing club websites.

So far I've listed as may colleges as i can find details for. Please let me know what I can add/subtract from the page by email me at iaaaATarchery.ie.

A list of Intervarsity Shoots would also be useful.

Cheers
Donal

You can definitely add saturday the 19th of February to the list. The UCD Intervarsity is on that day in UCD

Also, the GMIT Intervarsity is on the Saturday the 5th of Galway in GMIT (the day before the Nationals). As for the UL Intervarsity - your guess is as good as anyones. (Ahem Renegade_archer)

The contact details you're looking for can be found here:

Can you change the website of the DCU page to:

http://archery.redbrick.dcu.ie

It'll look better then the escaped "~" too. :)

The menu on the "Links" page doesn't work in its entirity. Someone needs to prepend "http://" to the hrefs etc etc.

Then again you'd be better off with soft links. "index.htm" instead of "archery.ie/www/index.htm" and so on.

Just suggestions et al.

*ahem* Must pay a lil more attention.

On closer look the website is now broken - the menu system doesn't work on any of the pages. I just hadn't refreshed the colleges page. Someone must've been working on it tonight and made a boo-bu.

There's two new training documents from Hans Blum available on the IAAA website. They are on Improving scores and Balance training

Anyone going on Sunday should print these off and bring a copy with you.

Do we have to book in span or is it just a case of showing up again? You headin up on the Sunday again?

Hi all,

I see that some people decided to reply here instead on directly to the email address as requested on my last post. This means that I haven't seen any of your posts about the IAAA website until today.

If you want me to add or subtract anything, or have a comment/report of a link problem, please email me at iaaaATarchery.ie. I don't get a chance to read the posts here very often, but I do get the emails almost immediately during the day.

One question... Trig, are the contact names for the college clubs on the UCD site up to date?

Cheers
Donal
