Static IP with NTL

I presume NTL's broadband service uses dynamic IP addresses. Is it possible to get a static IP address from NTL, as an optional extra like Eircom offers?

i've never heard of anyone with it. that said, the ip address doesn't change very often. i've had the same one since august
