I have an 1950s Zeiss Ikon Contaflex with a broken shutter mechanism.
From searching boards I came across this:

    Photographic Repair Services - Alan
    (01) 4782122
    (01) 4781638

Have had no luck getting through to them (voice mail says mail box full - never a good sign) and no reply yet to fax. Maybe I should be more patient?

Anyway, does anybody know of any other good places to try?

    Thanks,

    Dave

There's a crowd in Portobello (opposte the Lower Deck pub), called some three letter acronym beginning with 'D' that fix cams. Beside them is a place that sells/fixes stuff like Hasselblads. From what's I hear, they're great at fixing vintage cams. Alternatively, drop into Gunne's on Wexford St and ask them where the best place to go would be.
