Jail the Corrupt Politicians! Etc, etc, ad nauseum.

Walking down O'Connell Street last Saturday, I came across the now familiar sight of Socialist Worker folk banging on about some random issue that they know nothing whatsoever about. This time, surprise surprise, they were trying to get the good people of Dublin out into the rain to make a statement about how our corrupt politicians should be locked up.

Have NONE of these people even so much as a pair of braincells to rub together to warm their head cavity?

The call of the bird with the loudspeaker was, "They are gangsters, they are criminals, they ruin peoples lives!". Errrrrr, well, 1 out of 3 *is* kinda bad - Gangsters, no; criminals, unproven, but we'll say yes; life-ruiners, ehhhh, if your life is ruined by politicians taking bribes, then you clearly should not be allowed outdoors and should keep up the medication.

I'm sure that the week after, the Socialist Worker shall be out bravely campaigning against the revolving door system in our jails. Which of course has NOTHING to do with the unnessecary locking up of white collar criminals...

    Ja,
    Rob

Shinji, it must be Clare Daly, which you are referring too. She's the Siptu rep in Aer Lingus maintenance division - you know the one that was sold off recently....yeah that one. Anyway if its her, she's on Fingal County Council, the lord only knows how.

Yeah the good old Socialists - regular 'chip on shoulder' merchants. In fact in their case its probably a 'fish and chip on shoulder' - yes that was supposed to be funny

Welcome back Mark, from wherever you've been - no net connection in it obviously. I believe Singapore is lovely.

    To Infinity and Beyond!
