Going to Glasgow at the weekend.

Would a standard BoI Pass card work in ATMs there? Or would I be as well to take out all the money I'll need at the airport before I go?

    Cheers.

It'll work anywhere in the world as long as there's a Cirrus logo on the back of your card and also the machine you're using

did a little googling there and found this actually...
Can I use my Pass/Banking 365 card abroad?

Your Pass/Banking 365 card will have to display the “Cirrus” symbol in order to use it in ATM’s abroad. The charge for using your Pass/Banking 365 card outside the Eurozone is min €3.17 or 3.5% of transaction max €11.43. The charge for using your card within the Eurozone is the same as using it here in Ireland. To apply for the Cirrus facility you are required to fill in an application form available at any of our branches.

And my card doesn't have the symbol and even if it did I doubt I'd use it at those rates!!!

Most of the newer Laser cards will work. afaik the cards have to have the 'Cirrus' or 'Maestro' symbols on the back, coz some of the older cards don't have this. You'd probably want to check with the bank. I know my card works all over the world, but has these symbols

Similarly there is a 'Link' logo on some cards (Ulster Bank for one) that will also work in Glasgow
