What receiver/CAM would I need to be able to receive Art Sport?

    Would a 80cm cover Ireland?

Some sites are advertising the Art Sports card at £60 sterling for six months.

It seems to cover a lot of premiership matches at great value, although not taking in consideration the initial set-up costs.

    Is it worth installing?

AFAIK thuis is viacess on hot bird some something like a strong 6355 or other CI receiver with a matrix cam (or other viacess enabled) with 80cm dish would do this

Any receiver with a CI common interface and a Viaccess cam or with Viaccess embedded the wife has Humax 5300 VACI

    Not sure on dish size.

We have the ART network in our house. Bought the card in Morocco for 60E's it will last 6 months, as soon as you stick the card in the receiver its activated!!!

Worth installing well thats very subjective, in our house we are sat mad so money was never an issue and things are cheap here and we get so much enjoyment from sat Tv and radio!!! connected to the hi fi!!! :):):)

You will need to move yer dish lsightly to the west when looking behind it afaik. You will also need a suitable reciever as stated above by greenman.

    Hi Greenman,

Do you have contact/website details for the Art card you obtained in Morocco. 60euros seems a real deal.

£69 sterling is the best price, I can find.

    sikes

u need to make sure that the lnb is the " universal type" it is usuallywritten on the lnb but if it is not then it will be no good for digital stuff. To set ur dishm, find due south from where u are and then when looking due south move dish to left.

u dont say where u are but 80cm would be fine.

I Believe the quality on art sports isnt that good, anyone got it.

quality is fine, I have just checked it here in west of ireland, pouring rain, 85cm dish, invacom lnb, viaccess and no problems. I think sometimes the sound can get mucked up as it is 2 channel ie arabic and english. I use a humax 5400 receiver.

Will the card work in the Humax embedded cam or does it need a special cam?

hi, the embedded cam in the humax is irdeto and I believe u can specify the type of card ie irdeto or viaccess. Viaccess will not work with embedded irdeto. I have dedicated viaccess cam and a few others as well!!

    check out qc leisure.

    happy xmas

    Thanks for the info.
What make cam are you using for Via and would you recommend it?
It's certainly a much cheaper option for watching football than Sky.
