Get yourself a copy of DVD Shrink and you can remove the menu's and extra's and just put the film on a standard disk.

    download it from here:

    http://www.dvdshrink.org

I'm suggesting this software only for use on video's that you own the rights to and are legally allowed to copy / backup.

God, i'm getting GREAT use out of my post. Heres the same thing, regurgitated again!
Ok... considaring this in the charter. Posted about n u m e r o u s amounts of times (each of those letters is a link :p). I think i can be a bastard like last time and just quote myself...
    I think i'll be a real ******* this time....

    USE THE FRIGGIN SEARCH FUNCTION

This question gets asked and answered so many times....

EDIT: heres a pointer, DVD is too short a term to look for, so try "convert video". Some very similarly named threads show up....

EDIT: also go to doom9.org It must be linked in at least 3/4 of those threads...

    wow that's super
imagine people not thinking to use the search function with your predetermined phrase!

this topic hardly falls into conterting video - so why would anyone think it obvious to do so?

if the topics are coming up that often they should be stickied.

not as annoying as your huge feckin link though

[RANT]Maybe it should be stickied, i'm not a moderator, i don't decide those things. But what i do know is that that topic comes up about 3 times a week, and yet no-one seems to bother reading older threads. Sometimes someone starts the same fecking thing even with an existing thread on that topic ON THE FIRST PAGE.

Thats just pure laziness, and so i think they should really get off their respective asses and use the feckin search function. Its there for a reason.[/RANT]

If a mod wants a nice sticky to be written up, i will GLADLY write it, just ask.

You dont have to reply in the thread if it comes up again and again do you?Your always going to get someone asking same questions over and over so just get on with it.

    happy christmas
