I need to retrieve an email from outlook express but unfortunately i appear to have hit the "delete" button. Is there a file retrieval programme to rescue such emails out there

    Thanks,

    Klong

This may work, but I would strongly recommend that you backup your PST file before trying this

FYI despite the name Outlook and Outlook Express are very different products..
Have a search on the forums for express, but I'd reckon if it isn't in deleted items it would be very difficult to retrieive. If you have received new email since then chances are the space that mail was in would be overwritten. If you sent it on then check in sent items.

Also check in the temp folder (type SET at the Command Prompt / Dos console to see where TEMP is) as it may have a copy of documents opened.
