From what I've heard of the new album it's gonna be a noisy one.

is that out yet? if it is I'll be picking it up tomorrow. if not I'll be going festive with the Christmas album

The new album is called The Great Destroyer and it's out in January or February. Donal Dineen has played a couple of the tunes from it, they sounded more like "Canada"/"Last Snowstorm" than the older Slo-Fi stuff. One of the guys out of Mercury Rev produced it methinks.

Saw them in the Ambassador last time they played, and a fine show it was too.

So did everyone enjoy it? I thought it was a very good gig even if they didn't play enough old songs. Met Alan after the show, got his setlist and an autograph so the fanboy in my heart can rest easy tonight.
