yeh that'll be your netowrk mate,most network admins in college wont let you use msn msngr because of viruses n whathaveya

You could try using another IM client, like Trillian, or alternatively MSN WebMessenger...

Thats true, but it was unclear as to whether he was having trouble connecting, or if his profile limitations weren't allowing him to install it, which Trillina would have overcome... Just a possible solution to a possible problem.
