I want you to recommend for me a good book to get for Xmas.

I am thinking of one of the "classics".

I have read Nineteen Eighty Four, Brave New World, Clockwork Orange, Catcher In The Rye, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, To Kill A Mockingbird to name a few.

    Any ideas?

I dunno... stories good but there's too many 'coincidences' for my liking!

I suggest Filth by Irvine Welsh. You wont regret it !

    also.

Day of the Triffids - John Wyndham
I am Legend - Richard Matheson
    The Beach - Alex Garland

Not exactly thought of as classics but they are some of my favourite books.
