Geminid Meteor shower peak

    Just to let you know, if you have a clear sky later tonight be on the look out for the Geminid meteor shower which is coming to its peak. Ive been out watching since 10:30 and have seen 20+ from Tallaght so far, a lot of bright ones too..

    Yep it is, so I only stayed out for about 45 minutes. Saw 13 in that time.

    The forecast tonight was for 100% clud cover. Had I known there was a gap I would have gone to Wicklow.

    They are meant to be particularly good this year. It is fairly clear in Dublin tonight, so there might be a chance of seeing some.
