Zyxel Modem with UTV

Anyone here had problems getting connected using the Zyxel modem supplied by UTV? I ran setup from the CD as per the instructions, but the Zyxel just wont connect. I've managed to connect through my Netopia Wireless (which UTV won't support), but no joy with the Zyxel, which I was hoping to use for the Xbox. Any thoughts ?

Apparently that modem is now deprecated as they've made changes to the network that cause connection problems with it.

There's a workaround here:
