SCART II gives wavy edges on TV (SCART I OK)

It's a 28" Black Diamond - well out of warranty Plugging a DVD or Video into SCART I or into the Line in and it's ok but on the other SCART socket you get wavy moving eges on the screen~ 1/2" wide and 1" high. The lines are normal width so you get the edges on both sides of the screen as if there was problem with the line…

Plugging a DVD or Video into SCART I or into the Line in and it's ok
but on the other SCART socket you get wavy moving eges on the screen~ 1/2" wide and 1" high. The lines are normal width so you get the edges on both sides of the screen as if there was problem with the line synch.

Haven't poped the back off to check for dirt etc near the socket as can live without second SCART for the moment.

[edit] the lines move - there is no vertical problem

any ideas ?
