Insulate exterior copper central heating piping

I have a 15ft. (approx) run of 2" copper piping (2 pipes) running from an exterior boiler house along the outside of a return at ground level.

I wish to insulate this to prevent heat loss and frost damage.

I am wary of damage caused by rain to cladding.

    What do I do?

    Hi
2" dia. pipes Must be some heating system.
Where does "rain" and "cladding" come into it ??.
There is very good quality insulation available, not just ordinary lagging but thick fiberglass wool covered in silver foil, used widely in very large industrial installations eg hospitals, schools etc espexially near and in the boilerhouse.

If you can't get the foiled insulation, use the neoprene/foam type and the n paint it - using Armaflex paint or similar. this will greatly reduce wether damage, and should stop the bloody birds from pecking away at it to use for nesting ;)
