Right, guh, I know this aint common, anyway, without deliberately trying to be graphic, Ill have to go into a little detail about my region, simply for explaining myself.

Im more of a skin kinda guy, that is to be said even when erect my penis is completely covered in skin. I can pull it back and women allways do this but this reveals the tip which is major sensitive for me, and in a bad way.

Also it makes putting on condoms dificult.

Anyone in the same situation?

should make the "area" a little less sensitive, and obviously remove some of the excess skin..

i had the same problem in my early teens, but gradually, as I played with it a bit, as young boys do, it got easier and easier until i could wave it around like darth vader having a tantrum without fear of causing myself pain.

so the answer is, play with it more.

unless the problem is that the foreskin is too tight. in which case go to the doctor about it. or play with it more.

your tip will be sensitive if it's not had much exposure to the outside world, so just let the poor guy out to breath more and you'll be fine.

wow this is weird- well im suddenly unsure about whats normal as i always thought the way that it is for me is the same for other guys, but just to set things straight- is the foreskin meant to come down automatically when you have an erection? - cos mine is still fully sheathed when erect, i can pull it down easily if i want, but i find it is quite sensitive underneath, especially around the bottom end ( the end thats facing me that is) whenever i masturbate i always rub the foreskin around my penis to get off, when ever i see guys jackin off in porno im amazed at how desensitized their penises are- is that the way it is for other guys? , - if so, its been a revelation

I guess we're all different- in all different shapes and sizes.
There is not a norm- have a look at some of the medical forums- I think you will be quite happy to find that what you are describing is not unusual.

they are generally very sensitive until you give them a bit of useage. think of someone who's never done anything that requires physical work versus a builder. somoene who gives their hands lots of punishment over time. sensitivity of the hands would be much higher in the manual worker than the other guy.

give it some punishment.

by the way, porn stars are like builders, they've been punishing theirs for years, most of them probably can't feel a thing unless they're being swung round by it.

If the sensistivity is indeed due to lack of exposure you've plenty of advice in this thread already, however if you suspect someting nasty at work a medical opinion will put your mind at ease. In fact you might want to do that first. Some of the thoughts here have me in pain . :eek:

They're all quite different. Some men's foreskins automatically come back when the penis is erect, others don't. Some men's penises aren't even fully sheathed when flaccid (even without circumcision). The fact that a lot of other men's dicks don't work like theirs does is a shock to most men, since we never discuss them.

I'd say in porn, it's a combination of two things:
1) A lot of porn is filmed in America, where most men are circumcised for whatever reason. Circumcision desensitises the glans.
2) They're going to be less sensitive. Physically building a "thick skin" due to the amount of sex they're having.

To address those that had wondered: Simply spread a generous amount of cottage cheese on the head of the penis. Certain enzymes in the cottage cheese react with the glans and reduce the sensitivity over time. After six months of doing this twice a week I now have no sensitivity issues. PM me if you would like to know the best brand to get for this.

Practicing in the bath and warm water will loosen it up and the sensitivity is extremely likely to be due to the fact that your skin has been covering it all this time. Might be uncomfortable now but will get far easier. I've been there and not a problem since.

I dont believe what im reading! it is sensitive because its not used to being touched or rubbed. Once you start retracting it to wee, wash the retracted head with your hands, slide it back and forwards over the head when masterbating youll be fine. You just need to get it used to touch and friction, No guy never retracts it and has it feeling normal, they be seriously sensitive too!

Use Vaseline, it'll work in the long run, its just the skin needs to be stretched, plenty of self help and you'll be right as rain.

I'm not the same unreg as the lad who started thread just didn't want to expose identity.

Well believe it or not my mates and myself had this coversation recently. One of my friends was complaining that the tip of his lad was very sensitative and that girls always pulled it back for oral sex and this was painful for him. One of my other mates suggested getting the chop, being circumsized from birth he was a big avocate of this solution. Personally I had to disagree with him, I think its a bit drastic to cut off any part of your penis and this should only be attempted as a last resort.

The strange thing is, and the reason why I'm posting all this, is that my friend most certainly **** a lot. You show the guy any picture of a porn star and he can generally name who she is what describe her work. He even recognised a male porn star correctly from only his penis although he now disputes this. So I'm guessing the option of playing with it more to reduce sensitivity doesn't really apply. Anyone have any other advice for him because all joking aside he did seem fairly put out about it.

Lateral thinking at its very best Lex , should it ever come out in suppurating sores I would commend you the Bread Poultice which works a treat .

"BREAD POULTICE: Soak a small section of heel of homemade white bread in boiling water. Squeeze with back of spoon. Lay on sterile gauze or boiled cloth. Add pinch baking soda (1/4 tsp) . Mix with soaked bread, wrap in gauze and apply to affected area" .

Essentially it produces a natural penicillin when it cools and this is on the wound where it is actually needed .

i've something similar. when erect my foreskin doesnt completely come back, i can pull it back though. only thing is it seems to be hindered by this ligiment like tissue connecting the shaft to the head. think i read in some magazines before that it can be ripped of through sex or what not.

when erect my skin is all folded up near the top of the head. my guess is if this ligiment like thing wasnt there my foreskin wouldnt be all cramped around the top of the head.

doesnt cause me discomfort yet, but being a virgin i havent exactly tried it out. kinda afrad that i could tear this thing some day though

To go even further...
Mine doesn't go back at all. Erect, non-erect. People in a similar position usually find a lot of pain when excited, but I have a lot skin on top. What's actually happened is that the very end of the skin is too narrow and so will never pull back fully without the snip.
Because I've excess skin, it pulls back a long way but never reaches back beyond the tip peeping out. I can't complain with using it in practise (condoms no problem) and its always worked with solo expeditions too.

Underneath is extremely sensitive though because of this. Even after all this time.

This is quite common, for some people it pulls back automatically, for other they have to pull it back manually.

Not quite, but one form of surgery as an alternative to full circumcision is to reconstruct this piece of tissue, making the top of the foreskin looser.

It's a "spingy" tissue like tendons / ligaments, you can stretch so far, but only so far.

I used to have issues with foreskin been tight but the second or third time that I had sex I ended up splitting my frenelum and lost about 1/2 pt of blood(maybe this is an exageration!!).It was enough to make me feel light headed though. Never had problems with foreskin after that!!!

Believe it or not, this is quite a common occurence. I know a few friends that this has happened to. It's often referred to as "Splitting the Bishop" I know, I know, Charming!!

It can be due to a variety of things, having a tight foreskin, the girl being too tight, or not using enough lubrication be it natural or KY jelly.

To the original poster. I,m assuming that you're young? Early teens? If so, it sounds quite natural what you are going through. I remember having this discussion with my mates when I was that age (many eons ago!!) and it sorts itself with time.

This problem is nothing new, and having a casual chat with a G.P. should help put your mind at rest.

There are a number of solutions to this very common problem, the symptoms and severity of sensitivity should be discussed with a specialist whom your G.P. should refer you too.

It is nothing to be embarrased about.
