    For your infortmation ther first Eur 50.00 you spend on PPV is not charged until you go over the 50. So you may think you are getting away with it until your bill arrives.

    The box remembers and phones home later ...

    Ah right... thanks for the input!

    What about if you never have your Digital hooked up to the phone line? Enquiring on behalf of a mate.

    I presume it won't work anyways!

    The box will spend when new up to €50 then it stops unless the phone is connected.
    You won't be charged for that €50 afaik unless you hook in the phone, that includes hooking it in for any interactive services etc.
    However, new subsidised connections do require call backs and a phone connection.
    It's also mandatory for the mirror sub.
