    Are there any photographers out there who'd like to help an amateur such as myself with a few little technical questions I have!
    I just got a brand new NIKON f55...i love it and now want to start using filters, I know i should get a UV one on there all the time but I also want to get a Polarising filter...does anyone have any advice on how much this'll set me back? Or any other general advice on SLR photography for keen beginners!

    about €100 but higher or lower depending on the brand you buy and what size lens you buy it for.

    other advice is take loads and loads of photos of everything and look at other photographers work on places like www.photo.net
