Decent LCD monitors

Hey all,

I know that there has been plenty of discussion of the benefits of LCD monitors and what the various abbreviations associated with them mean, but I was just wondering if someone could give me feedback on this monitor, which I was thinking of getting...

It looks good, has 16ms response time (which, as I understand it, means that the monitor will be updated more and won't give the trailing effect) and it's not too bad on price...am I missing something?

looks like great value, only one thing missing for it to be a brilliant monitor.
a DVI connection. it only takes vga. no biggie, but i'd look around for a tft with similar spec, but with DVI.

Aha! That's probably it, I was told to look out for that as well, my video card has an output for that, so might as well use it if I can, cheers for that, I'll look around a bit more.

Picked myself up a 172x a few months ago (http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=121957&cks=SER). Tis very nice, but a bit pricey.

DVI input is a must, don't use VGA on TFTs. The quality will be worse, especially for games.
