I'm looking to build a machine. preferebly a linux box. The only features i want on the OS will be a media player that plays movies and music. THATS IT. I'll connect the machine to another machine downstairs. Has anyone got some bright ideas for the OS I should use, the hardware i may need to buy , ie. the screen,box,remote etc.

ye that looks good from the screenshots i have seen so far. I might update this thread as i continue to develop this project. I'll give as much detail as i can when looking for help.
