Yeah, it's a pretty savage machine.

To get a loan or not to get a loan, that is the question...

    who makes the machine?
afaik you can get the same machine for 50 bucks cheaper on their website but when u add in p&p it works out the same. Altho it does mean you dont have to queue up early in lidl or leave your house in fact!

Didn't know you can do that? Has anyone done that before?

Whats the battery life like on this?

I will get the make for you in the morning...i know people who have gotten the other lidl laptops and have had no problems with battery life or anything.

Sounds like there has to be a flaw but there isnt

Here she is, the Targa Traveller 811 3000+ Mobile 64 Bit Power . Sweet enough.

Have my eye on that dvd (+DivX) player / card reader for €79.99 too...might fling one of the remotes in the trolley too tbh. Might be kinda broke for the weekend, but sure...pfff it's christmas.

Not a bad deal from the store here (bottom of page), shipping comes to €30 with UPS.

That looks like a handy site, will check it out later ,but i noticed that if you spec out the machine to be the same as the lidl one it's more expensive even before shipping. It's the extras that get ya:mad: . Xphome english = +99, english keyboard=+59 and in the case of the one at the top of the page the equivalent lidl machine has an extra 20gigs on the hdd, not to mention a case and usbstick

    €1380 with a 3200+ but only 40gb. Still a reliable name and another €125 for 3year warranty :)
