    hey,

I built my own pc about 2 months ago and put 2 sata drives in a raid array in it. I frequently get 'incomplete raid array - press f4 to run setup" (or something to that effect). Sometimes this goes away after haveing used and rebooted the PC a few times so when it happens again i've been ignoring it.
Last night i was taking a cable out of my PC and knocked out the power cable from one of the drives. On the previous boot the 'incomplete raid' message had been up. The computer didn't boot. I noticed that only 1 drive was in the sata bios so did the necessary.
The computer still isn't booting. When i go into the sata (raid) bios there was no array set up but when i went to set one up (although i have before) it asked me to delete the existing one.

Anyway, I don't want to lose anything so though i'd ask here first.

Is it safe to delete the array? I presume I won't lose anything. I presume the drive on the primary channel is perfect and for some reason the second isn't. i presume then that it'd be ok to delete the array and then create another and rebuilt the set.

    Help...

    Thanks.
