Just a heads up Tesco Poleberry (sp?) have a Goodmans DVD/DivX player and a set of Alba 5.1 surround sound speakers for €99.

they had a Philips one which played divx for €79 a few weeks ago

alas i forgot about it and missed out

Yup they are, download a film 750mb off the net,Its a compressed file bit like an mp3
