Good Chips ?

I've a case of 300 chips I got last year. They seemed decent at the time but now they seem...not so good. Too light, not too pretty etc.. Although there not too bad, I'd like to by a new set.

I've been looking around the net and came accross Poker Chip Reviews.
With this and a bit of searching I've come up with the Rounders Chips.

Has anyone any experience with these or could recommend a chip ?
I'm gonna get a sample anyway but would love to know what chip types people have here and what they think of them.

Anyone ever gotten custom chips made ?

    Brian.

If you do a little search you'll see a wealth of chip related threads previously on this board.

I'll not attempt to duplicate their collective wisdom.

There are a few threads on chips alright but none that really relate to the questions I asked.

Maybe someone has bought the Rounders chips ?
Just looking for an opinion on relatively expensive ships really.

The price for rounders seems about right for "real" casino chips. - Not much of a "home" market for chips of this quality. - I have asked my main supplier in USA about rounders and he has confirmed they are at the top end of the market.

He claims his (stocked at special days) clay chips are damn close to the casino quality at a fraction of the price, but if you want absolute replicas of casino chips rounders / chipco chips are at that level.
