Was in it the other night

Pros: The tunes werent bad,it seemed alot less chart boyband/girlgroup pop centred than some holes. The bouncers were among the most amicable Ive ever encountered, asking you everything with a please and thank you, apologising for the queue, cracking a joke and generally treating you more like a customer than an inmate on a prison bus like some bouncers do.

Cons: All pints 5 euro-nothinhg going cheap like the way they sell less popular beers for 3 euro in some places. The draught beer was vile that night(Bud and Heineken was anyway),but being Irish we drank it by the bucketload regardless. Bringing naggins in would be a challenge-Blanch being Blanch, you are patted down and given a scan with the metal detector for guns, knives etc at the door. Also,I got the impression that its policy to force people to put their jacket in the cloakroom. I usually just leave my jacket where Ive been sitting,it hasnt been robbed yet so Ill continue to do so. But when I tried walking past the cloakroom with jacket I was politely asked by a bouncer to leave it in(I got the feeling I was being told more than asked tbh)

All in all,not a bad spot, but you want a few drinks in you beforehand if you want to get reasonably bladdered but still have enough money to live.
