Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Twas suggested to me recently that we should try do a Counterstrike competition between NUIG and GMIT...I know we spoke about it before but I think we should go for it...Especially since the (stupid) game has taken control of one of the computer labs in the Science Dept...
    So what do you reckon??

    Well I don't like it either, in fact I don't really like computer games...
    But it could get people to come to the society..

    The golden age of Counter Strike in CR2 maybe at an end... they put a nasty sign up and everything....

    On a lighter note, we are having an event of some sort in the next two weeks, even if its just 5 ppl, we are having an event or some such

    lmao, mmmm ill give ya the jist of it...

    No Unauthorised Games (lol @ "unauthorised")
    Students found playing games
    such as Quake, Counterstrike...
    will be disciplined.

    Apparently someone got kicked out a few years ago for playing games on the computers, its such a fooking joke 'cos peeps sit in the labs playin junky mini games that fill the pcs with spyware, how come they are'nt given the boot, its not like CS or Q3A actually cos the systems any harm?

    Well the meeting went well today, got a few things sorted (dates,stuff,etc,etc) anyways now just to get them.

    Shall be showing some sort of anime film/series on the 8th @ 7 room to be confirmed yet.

    A certain gaming contest that will *cough* not *cough* be held in the it.

    Websites stuff more of that to be arranged a little later.

    anyways Happy bubblewrap day :)
