    Am I right in thinking ER returns to RTE1 on Sunday evening?

    You are. Expect a break over Christmas, but other than that it's pretty good going to have the new series so early. The US are now on ep 8, so once it returns in January, it should be a straight run through to May.

    I was expecting an add for it after the clinic.

    I haven't seen any adds for it I would say they will wait until january and show it right through, rather then take breaks as they have done over the last number of years.

    But I could be wrong, generally they advertise it a good bit if its on.

    I've seen the ad too, 9.25 Sunday night. I guess I'll have to record the last 2 episodes of the 4400 ;)
