Ok, so it's Christmas and yer having a party -- whose Greatest Hits CD do you reach for first? :)

I tried to balance it out between older & newer camptastic artists, and used the max number of options on the poll, so soz if I left anyone out!

At the moment I'm in a Kylie mood, love the new song 'I Believe in You' :D

Good gods! Heaven forfend! None of the above. It's Christmas!

Johnny Mathis Merry Christmas, Harry Simeone Chorale The Little Drummer Boy, Bing Crosby Winter Wonderland, Nat King Cole Christmas Classics, Maddy Prior & The Carnival Band Carols & Capers, Loreena McKennitt A Winter Garden, Choir & Orchestra of Clare College, Cambridge The Holly and the Ivy.

If anyone wants Amazon links to these, I'll put them in.

Yes, 'tis the season for parties and all, but I certainly get enough Christmas themed music played in stores from late November on to even *think* about playing any @ a party :)

Most stores just play those dreadful modern "Best Christmas... Ever!" compilations over and over.... :(

Christmas tunes are just overplayed, most of the time I can't listen to them. Unless it's a Christmas album by someone cool like Christina Aguilera or Jessica Simpson. :D

I'd prob pick britney or steps from that list.

If it was a christmas party though, I'd have to go for Christmas with the Rat Pack , because it's just ... classic :D

Oh believe me, I looked there first, and was convinced it was an AMI entrant. In full shock-gear. ;)

Anyway, lets stop hi-jacking the thread.

Does it have to be so clichéd?

Nope. I voted from the selection on offer but I asked for Nirvana 'coz they've released a boxed set... I could just do as I wish and add it on... I'm tempted... too tempted....

Well yes, it was supposed to be clichéd. Anyways I'd need a lot more than 10 options to fit in all the GH out there for Christmas. :)

Red Shoes Diaries - I'm sure I've read that one.

Hmm, greatest hits for christmas . . . well, I'll back ixoy up on the Nirvana. OOOHHH yes. Um... Well, I know he doesn't have a greatest hits as such, but I'd whip up a mixed CD of Elliott Smith - Angeles, Roman Candle, Pictures of Me, Ballad of Big Nothing... I'd also think about INXS to...
