Nominations here for what you thought was the best screenplay of 2004.

To be eligible, the sceenplay should be for a film released on Irish cinema screens during the year 2004. Each voter can only nominate a maxiumum of two titles. Any further ones shall be ignored.

Question: does it have to be an original screenplay? (stuff not adapted from books etc.)

'Garden State' definantly gets my vote here anyways!

Just to be different, I'm going with Kaufman's screenplay for "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". Oh and it can be adapted from another source, if that's what you want to vote for.

Second vote goes to Before Sunset.

I'll have to go with Kaufman too...

I guess this isn't going to be a very hotly contested category.

Yeah, my second vote goes to 'Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind'

    So my two votes are:

Garden State (from 2nd post of the thread)
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind

Seems like i've voted those two in almost every award though! :)

Though 'Best Character' surely has to go to Napolean Dynamite.

Before Sunset as my 2nd choice.
