looky here folks...

Was I in the Fitz one day when one of the players (big guy, tattooed, possibly, maybe called John) was saying that he could get his hands on signed Man Utd. jerseys or something similar?

Does anybody know the guy I'm talking about or am I mixed up? Have I got the story straight?

If someone knows him can they pull a plan together?

I do know that one of the waitress has a boyfriend who plays for Arsenal and she has gotten signed shirts before.

That's probably the guy! The name Tony sounds as familiar. I don't know him, I seem to remember donating a lot of chips to him one Sunday night, which may be the same time that I overheard discussion of signed football jerseys (I think).

If somebody knows him and will see him maybe they could put the pieces together?

Thats Ger. Its her little brother, he plays for Arsenal Youths. BMC, PM me with what you are looking for, I know a guy who has a large collection of signed shirts (the pick of which has to be McGraths shirt from the Ireland-Italy WC 1994 game), he may have what you are looking for.

Hmmm... Just trying to act as a catalyst here really...

I saw the post that I linked to at the top earlier today and it just reminded me of the conversation that I overheard in the Fitz. I just thought that since there's a good bit of overlap between the poker players and the Santa Strike force crew, it might be worth pointing out. I (so far anyway) have nothing to do with the other post at all.
