Refurb laptops from the states

I'm just wondering did any of you guys buy a refurb laptop from the states? They seem much cheaper (including the expensive delivery of ~80US$) than buying it from here or UK.

And what where your experiences with it? It seems it is a big risk and rather big trouble if something goes wrong...

I'm mostly looking at ibm thinkpad t22/t23 for around 600 US$ from http://www.ebuysuperstore.com.

What would you guys recommend? Any other cheaper places in here or UK?

    Thanks,

P.S: if you have a laptop for sell for ~500 please take a look at my laptop wanted thread

Have bought from them before and they are very good. ;)

<edit> My advice is buy from the dotcom website in US dollars and save a bucket on the change over. Also try to get non-priority ground shipping and you might get away with paying duty. </edit>
