Yeah I signed up to UTV free last month, I havent actually had a bill yet but it did take approx 3 weeks for calls to be re-routed to UTV from Eircom, although there was good communication by email throughout. They havent changed to single billing yet so still have to pay eircom line rental but considering my call costs by my calculation will be alot cheaper dont mind so much.

The free calls under 59 mins is great and also includes UK calls and these are all off peak calls excluding mobiles. (mobiles are cheaper than eircom anyway) I also did the internet package with UTV which is working out to be great value for me. I did comparisions on the Esat option as well and UTV for me personally are working out much cheaper and dont mind the wait as am sure it will hopefully be able to include line rental on the 1 bill in the not too distant future!.

Theres loads about this subject if you do a search under the Net/Comms thread and i'm sure people may disagree with my experience but so far so good!

    Hi.
I am just starting my 2nd month of UTVFree.
I have had no problems to date.
I guess it just boils down to when you make your calls & where you phone.
In my case, I am from Dublin & live in Sligo. My wife is from Cavan & has a sister in the UK.
So, if we call after 6pm in the evening or during the weekend we can call our families for free and all for the cost of the line rental, which we would have to pay anyway.

    P.s.

Might be a good idea not to tell your family/relations or they will expect you to phone every evening!
