Wireless with Mac and Windows

    hi there.

i was just wondering whether anyone will be able to help me on this. i am not a computer genius myself and always have to rely on help from others first! ;)
anyway, i just recently got irish broadband and i have a mac (iBook) and a pc desktop. i have had no trouble connecting the mac immediately through the built in ethernet port but i would ultimately like to set up a wireless connection for both computers instead of buying another ethernet card for the pc first.
anyway, i went to pc world and was hugely disappointed by their service. even i know more about computers than the guy who was trying to sell me anything. i was looking at different things and they all were not mac compatible but he still insisted that one thing was, because it said that it has a MAC address filter. anyway, i thanked for his help and moved on, deciding that i will post on here and see what people have to say.
well, to put it in a nutshell... i just want a wireless network at home where i can have both my mac and pc connected to the irish broadband service.
can anyone give me some advice and recommendations?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

    all the best,

    sam
