Brother wants to buy a digital camera for a present

    my brother is looking to get his girlfriend a digital camera for a x-mas present.

    he wants to get one of them camera plus printer thingy's basically no pc required. he just wanted me to find out is there anywhere on the net cheaper (you bet there is).

    he'd also like to stick with the canon brand because he has had good experiences with these.

    also just a note this will only be a point and click camera person so no nikon D70's or Canon EOS 300d's

    First of all, read the reviews on dpreview.com
    for canon reviews go to this link

    then, don't buy in an irish shop unless you like being ripped off. American sites are cheaper but you have the annoyance of paying duty and VAT so I'd reccomend buying it from amazon, here , cheap, fast and great service
