Has anyone used shopireland.ie? I was searching for shops in the states to buy some stuff in and *bam* there they are advertising at the top of google.
Seems to be Amazon's products in euros with Irish VAT worked out? Why there isn't just an Amazon.ie I don't know.

Just be interested to hear any feedback as I'm getting a bit tempted.

    Anyone? :D

It's basically the UK Amazon in euro pricing, with the high delivery costs intact. Seems completely useless imo.

You can convert to Euro on Amazon anyway and they add the Irish VAT

funnily enough, i noticed this too, the other day. i'm doin a shop for my project this year and was researchin other shops when i came across this. i actually put in my research report that i didn't know why they didn't just make amazon.ie . its shopireland up until the shopping cart. istead of a "Buy" button theres a "Buy from Amazon" button. its a bit misleading for a site with "ireland" in their name to be orderin from UK, especially if ur tryin to "Buy Irish" n all.
The only explanation i can think of is that someone else offered to make the site for amazon so they dont have to pay to build the site or maintain it or pay the designers. plus, shopireland might use this to build up a good reputation then go on their own once they have a customer base.

It's just an elaborate Amazon affiliate site.

It is quite elaborate though... :)
