Nokia 6230 as a Bluetooth Modem - Help Needed!

    Hey all,

Righty, I finally got my 6230 (2 weeks after I initially ordered ot on the O2 online shop but that's another story... :() Anyway, I bought myself a MSI USB Bluetooth Key to use with my IBM T41 laptop (running Windows XP) and this phone and herein lies the problem.

Basically, Nokia's PC Suite software (after a fair bit of trial and error) can see the phone over Bluetooth and save to/from it, but when I try to setup a dialup connection to O2's GPRS service (using the same settings that worked for me through Infrared) it keeps telling me that "the modem other device may be in use/not working correctly" - the phone however does recognize that an attempt to dial out is being made and links up with the laptop successfully.

I tried installing the 2 different drivers that Nokia has for this phone and Bluetooth but no joy.. in fact when I use Nokia's drivers, MSI's Bluetooth software can't even see the phone it seems, only when I use what it terms a "Bluetooth Modem" can I get anything from it.

Has anybody managed to get such a setup working, or have any good guides on what to do/try?

I've probably left out some info (but hey it's still early and I was at a work Xmas do last night :D) so let me know if you need more info.

    Any tips/help appreciated folks! :)
