does anyone know how to completely remove quick time 6 from your system? i uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it keeps some info from the previous install that i want to get rid of  . it must be storing it in some file that doesn't get uninstalled. it might also be in the registry, i suppose, but i thought i read somewhere that this was called the "preferences file" or something like that.

i'd be grateful for anyone's help on this. thanks.

Yes......yes it does.... :shifty eyes: It's good I like it and it comes with Media Player Classic which is a very light player.

one thing though, you won't be able to view mov videos on webpages with that

    like movie trailers from apple.

only mov files that are on the system

if you want to remove settings and everything, when you uninstall, remove QT's folder from program files, then go to program files/common files, see if QT left something there

finally get registry cleaner like regcrawler or RegSeeker, run it type quite time and delete every registry entry it will find!
