    just got some ink off this croud the other day, www.inkcycle.co.uk. the ink i bought was for an epson and was less than a tenth of the cost here. delivery to ireland is a flat £2.50 no matter how much you order. i just used the first cartridge today and its perfect, well worth a look. this is a great site, cos ive had a pain in my ass payin through the nose here for ink. the cartridges come boxed and vacuum packed just like the originals.

    hope this is of some use

    the lexmark stuff is expensive, i had a lexmark p707 and binned it due to the ink costs (was costing nearly €90 to fill it). I bought an epson due to the cheap ink available. if your llokin for a good cheap printer look at the epson cx3200 - scanner photocopier etc.

    Heard that there is a crowd in Kildare that does that as well. Can't remember the web site link though

    its www.inkjet.ie, they are the ones with all the good luck mayo signs! Had a look at their website and did not think that their claim to be 'Ireland cheapest' was quite true!

    Ah yes, the old lexmarks are biggest scam of all. They're usually the cheapest printers around - and people buy them - then lexmark screw people over when it comes to refilling them, that's how they make their money back. Personally, the first thing I do when looking for a printer is compare the price of the refills, after all, this is what you're going to spend most money on.

    As for ink cartridges, I use 'Cartridge World' to refill mine ( http://www.cartridgeworld.org/ ). Very good value. I've never had a problem with them and they're very helpful. If for whatever reason the refills don't work, just take them back and get your money back. There's one on the Navan Road and one on the Malahide Road.

    I used this crowd http://www.ink4europe.com/asp/index.asp?ObjectID=310&Mode=0&RecordID=1

    a few occasions and I must say I find the very good indeed. They are based in Maya and offer free p+p to Ireland and UK.

    Compared to the above mentioned sites, they are cheaper on the cartridges I had to get. Epson C84.

    Doesn't seem cheap to me.
    I've an Epson R300 - it takes 6 carts, on inkcyclye it's over £29
    here and on SVP a 6 pack of these carts is £8.99 here

    Sorry I forget to put in the link to the site I was referring to. Link is now posted in previous post.

    I recommend that people don't give business to inkjet.ie
    All those signs you see are litter and it's our taxes that pays for them to be cleared up. They're not an Irish company so they cannot be prosecuted by the county councils (this is according to the litter warden in Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown).
    Don't give them your business.

    Guys, out of curiosity I checked each website here to see where it would be cheaper to buy refills for my HP deskjet 970cxi.
    It takes a HP 45 and a HP 78.

    Shop.....HP 45......HP 78.....Shipping....Total
    inkjet....21.95......26.95......0.............48.9 (free shipping for orders>30eur)
    inkcycle.13.25......24.12......3.79........41.16(remanufactured cartridges)
    i4e*......24.97......24.97......0............49.94 (non-oem, free shipping)
    bdc*.....12.6.......29.35.......7.19........49.14 (remanufactured)
    cw*......I have emailed these for prices and will update

    *
    i4e =ink4europe
    bdc=blankdiscshop
    cw=cartridge world

    It looks like inkcycle are the cheapest for refilling a 970cxi(as long as its not original HP cartridges your after). Although I have a feeling cw will be cheaper.

    I thought that you had to be a registered Irish company to be able to get a .ie domain.
    Its probably part of this "a sure if their from the north of ireland we treat them as Southerners" mentality. Thats all fine and dandy but if they continue breaking Irish laws(littering or otherwise) then they should loose the ability to use .ie domains and other Republic of ireland only services.
