Hi im thinking of purhchasing a samll laptop for Christmas and saw
this little cookie o going for around 80£.

    Brand: IBM Condition: Refurbished
Processor Speed: 300 MHz Chip Type: Intel Pentium II
Hard Drive Capacity: 3.1 GB Memory (RAM): 128 MB
Screen Size: 14 inches Primary Drive: CD-ROM
Features: 10/100 LAN Card, Carrying Case, Modem, Operating System, USB, Wireless Network Card

This laptop is meticulously refurbished and fully tested. All the necessary drivers are pre-loaded. However, since this is a used laptop, you may find a few cosmetic-only but minor scratches, scuff marks. Pre-loaded with tons of quality software. To name a few: Windows? 98 Second Edition MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Outlook Express AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) Pinball Arcade MGI Photo Suite Adobe Acrobat Internet software Anti-Virus Anti-Spyware WinZip User?s Reference Manual in digital format.

Im going to be using it just for my website to keep everything tidy,
Should it do the job or are the specs too low? :) ?

By the way can people actually explain to me how a wireless network
card works ? Does that mean i can access my Broadband network
of 2 computers downstairs from upstairs??

    Anyway thanks :)

If one of the machines has a WiFi card of its own too, then yes, I can access wirelessly my 2 machines in the living room from the laptop in the bedroom
