    Has anyone heard of any special offers in any of the toy shops yet?Like pre xmas sales etc?

    well got Tetris sort of game console from Argos other day,you know the type that where its just a joystick and 5 other games are on it?...But this is just tetris as wife loves it,so i seen it couple of weeks back and it was 23euro in Argos so went in thursday gone and they had a sale on and it was just 14.99euro for same thing so it was a result....heard its good shopping up in Newry

    Aldi had some good toys in there usual thursday specials

    Don't know about the rest of the country but World Of Wonder are doing a great 50% off sale down here in Sligo.

    Father went in to get my nephew a train set for Christmas there last week in it. Got one of the professional Hornby train sets reduced from €125 to €62.50.. he thought it was great value.

    In my opinion, the child is 3, why does he need one of the professional train sets?.. He'll either spend the time chewing it or throwing it at me!!
