Schools in Dublin

How do you find out about schools in Dublin? Is it all word of mouth? I'd like to know whether they get good results, what they cost if anything, how and when to apply. I guess this only applies to secondary schools. Are primary schools all much the same? play along with teacher kind of stuff?

Is there a book or web site? Any ideas?

Try rollercoaster.ie or magicmum.com and look at their threads on Education and "older children" and you will see discussions about many schools. Alternatively post a question yourself, if you have a couple of school's in mind.

www.education.ie has list of all schools in different areas.
