    I few months back someone posted a site that had a mod for far cry that was based on SG1. can anyone remeber what the site was???

    you do know there is an official stargate pc game coming out(xbox and ps2 probably)

    yeah i know but it'll be handy to keep and check out the updates on the game! Hope they'll do the game justice. Kinda worried though cos when was the last time JoWood released a decent game!

    i doubt they would have made that episode if the game wasnt in development


    i think that it would be a good bet that that was "tweaked" footage of the game even if its very early is was impressive

    I read somewhere that the footage from Avatar was done by the guys that are developing the game. Same models and everything was used, they just didn't render it in realtime.

    Yeah, thats correct. My only gripe with the game is that its being targeted at the PS2, XBox and PC, meaning we'll probably have drastically inferior graphics on the PC, compared to the recent spectacles of Half-Life 2 and Far Cry. Its entirely possible the Far Cry mod will look better than the published game!
