Ya get Firefox! Nah dead serious been using Firefox bout a week and its 10 times better .Otherwise the fastest way is go to microsoft.com download the latest update for IE and bobs your uncle.Usually works

You may just be missing the required codec. Have a look for Nimo codec pack or k-lite codec pack. These might help.

Firefox is recommended over IE but if you're missing codecs then Firefox won't help. You'll still need to get them. If it's an IE problem then Firefox is the way foreward.

Check and see if they're set to play in internet explorer, if they are then try setting them to not play in internet explorer and you might have better luck, odd problem really.

Can't anyone resist advising people to get firefox or whatever they think is fab whenever someone has an IE problem, they're looking for help with IE, not an alternative browser

If I went and installed firefox following your fantastic so called advice -- I wouldn't be able to do my job and firefox won't connect to any of the many important webcasts I'd need to be listening too as part of my work. Telling people to install firefox is a cop out to answer a technical question about IE.

People have different needs in the world of computing, just bear it in mind please. It's annoying whenever a thread pops up with folks looking for help with IE to have other web browsers recommended.

IE is the ONLY browser I get full functionality from for the work I do and someone else could be in the same situation, please consider that the next time you're going to advise someone to use mozilla, opera, firefox or whatever you think is the best thing since sliced bread because it's not for some of us! [/endrant]..

plus the fact you will still get adware/spyware etc.. as you still have IE install on your system.

unless - you are using a different operating system. i.e not windows.
