    Sailing on stars,
    through the velvet blanket of the night,
    stirring within shadows,
    hidden deep from heart or light,
    for wherever I may wonder,
    while I wonder far from home,
    my heart on my sleeve,
    with nowhere left to go

    momma's sun rising,
    thoughts vacantly airing in the east,
    strolled pulse beating loudly,
    soul's caverns running deep,
    cradled love withholding,
    my desire's own needs aplenty,
    feeling like I'm a box,
    deep, dark & empty

    you emptied me into the night,
    threw my heart among the stars,
    cast my soul amongst the heavens,
    and my tears graced the landscape like rain,
    my smile the rainbow,
    my fear the thunder rolling,
    my life,
    nature's essence,
    my person,
    Budda's thought made reality,
    brevity of life,
    like parting is sweet sorrow
