Does anybody know if it's possible to get a "PCI Extender" ? Basically for a slimline system, an add on box that would contain something like a riser card to allow you to put in more pci cards ?

    Also

The Aldi PC from April - On the back of it it has a scart connector that allows either video capture or broadcast.

Anyone know if you can get a (add-on) PCI card like that ?

You can get risers that'll give you 2 PCI slots. They come in 2 varieties, a dummy one that only works on EPIA boards and an active one that I think will work on any board. http://www.mini-itx.com/store/?c=8#p1902

As for the scart socket. A lot of new graphics cards have that feature, it's called VIVO. Most will have at least video out. For video in you can get a PCI or USB TV card. The Hauppauge PVR 350 does video in and out aswell.
