OK before you all start, i know this is probably asked a million times a week but this question is a little different!
Anyway i was wondering could people post what sites they've bought blank DVDs off and how much they cost per 25 pack or per 50 pack after the shipping price has been added i.e. what was the full price you paid.

    I bought 50 blank DVDs off komplett.ie for 28euro.

I got great value at www.nierle.com on high-quality DVDs. (click on UK flag
to get the site in English.) Postage to Ireland is probably a little more, but you should still save if you buy in bulk.

Maybe you could post how many you got and how much they were after shipping is paid???????

    www.blankdiscshop.co.uk (i.e. www.svp.co.uk)

They are the best for discs. Fine, you can pick up 50 for 25 from komplett, or 100 for 50 in maplin, but how good are the discs? Are they ****e?

I got 20 Thats Write DVD+R discs from komplett, and they were great, no problems. But they cost EUR1 each. So next time i bought 100 Thats Write DVD-R's, and they are DISASTEROUS! I;ve had quite a lot of them feck up so badly they are now unreadable.

So, i suppose you pay for what you get... cheap != good. Then i got 50 DVD+R's from SVP, and so far they're all still perfect. *touch wood*. They're the yellow coloured datawrite ones, about GBP10 per 25 spindle, with 25 DVD Boxes being an additional GBP1.50 or so.

The best irish site i have used to far is http://www.mediawrite.ie/
    i have purchased a 50 pack of verbatim 8x r- (47 euros) 45 used not a coaster yet
50 Taiyo Yuden 20 used no probs good pi pif scans (just over a euro each )
a pack of 25 8x r+ traxdata not as good as the above but not bad (17 euros )
the delivery for this irish site is about 6 euros but as i live in cork i pick the discs
    up myself .
PS if you live in dublin you can get taiyo yuden for about 76 cent a piece (plus vat) at http://www.ramtechnologies.ie/ in Ashbourne just outside dublin

I bought 50 DVD+R's off Komplett recently and haven't had a problem - 33 Eurons for them, including delivery.

I looked around, Viking were around 64 Euro, Argos were around the same, so Komplett seem to be a good deal.

I buy the "Thats Write" media off komplett

only €8.85 for a pack of 25 - I used well over a 100 of these babies without even 1 coaster - I think there the best about at the moment, also play in any dvd player(standalone) that I tried them in.
