    Tryin to convert a 3.6mb video file to avi because the program i m using for a project only accepts ths. Problem is when i do convert it it come s out at a size of 170mb i think it could be th audio settings any ideas, has to be under 4mb and .avi

    sorry its a windows movie maker file .wmv when publish!
    I was my under the impression that converting it to .avi would make it smaller!

    where did u get the original video file? if u recorded it from a DVI camera you can probably change it directly. also, in movie maker it might let you save as a diferent format.
